Hi, friends. And welcome back to the breakthrough mindset podcast. In today's episode, we are talking about goal setting. Now a question I answer often as a mindset and business growth coach is, what can I do to set and achieve goals faster, with more clarity, and really follow through on the things that I've set out to accomplish? So in this episode, I would like to share with you a tool that you can put into action today. And it's called the daily three. This tool is going to help you tap into your goal setter mindset, have more clarity and focus on your goals and really cut through one of the biggest goal setting missteps. So let's get started.

Okay, so let's break down the daily three. The first question to ask yourself in order to set and achieve your goals with consistency is this: How can I show up today as the version of myself that has already accomplished this goal?
07:30
The next question to answer is this: What feels unsafe about accomplishing this goal? Now this question is all about anticipating the obstacles and the mindset blocks that might stop you or slow your progress. Oftentimes, we don't step out of our comfort zones, because the unknown, subconsciously doing something new, can make us feel uncomfortable or unsafe. Building a habit of stepping out of that comfort zone, putting yourself in a vulnerable place to be new or inexperienced at something that can take time now to build that habit faster.

The next question to answer is this. How do I know trust and believe that achieving this is possible for me? Now, here's the thing that might come as a surprise. There is a difference between knowing something is possible and knowing that it is possible for you, especially if you want to achieve something you've never done before. You have to know trust and believe that it is possible for you. Find the evidence that supports your belief that you can accomplish it.

Now, let's talk quickly about making this a daily habit. One way you can make answering these questions, and developing your goal setter mindset, a daily habit is to make this a part of your morning routine. If you already journal or keep a planner, you can use these three questions as prompts and answer them daily. It doesn't take more than five minutes to do.
